cheerfully strangling a sibling...

it has been a very exhausting two weeks in my family. my nephew had surgery - his adnoids were removed and permanent tubes were put into his ears. the others no longer worked. he's only 3, so to see him in the hospital was really hard. we went through a week of treating him like he was made of glass, and the child bounced back like he was made of rubber. the next day after the surgery you couldn't even tell he'd had anything done, but we were careful, none the less.

this week my sister had surgery. they found a mass in her abdomen, and they were afraid it was cancer. it wasn't, but rather scar tissue from her c-sections. she'd had 2 of them and they cut her bikini-style. it's supposed to heal faster, but considering she had to undergo surgery 3 years after her last childbirth, i'm guessing that wasn't the best way to go. and she had the best ob/gyn in the state (her husband was a neurotic sob even then).

i don't care if she is healing from surgery. she snaps and bitches at me once more, and she'll next be healing from a punch to the face. i could strangle her and not feel any sorrow. she's bitchy on a good day, but this week, she makes a pit bull look friendly.

also, it's spring break here, and i had to house-sit. wasn't too bad. except the phone calls 3 times a day from my brother and his wife checking up on the dogs (lulu and oscar...a mini-daschund and a tea-cup yorkie that they call their kids).

and lastly...there was a murder about 5 miles from my house. that sudden finding of the body spawned a hoax that there was a new gang initiation that required the abduction and murder of women from local walmarts. the body of a 17 year old girl was found and the head nearby by turkey hunters. they don't know why or how.

when shit happens around here, it's freakin' diarrhea.
